The idea for SwitchAI came from a annoying realization: Italian energy bills are a mess to parse, and every provider formats theirs differently. I spent weeks trying to build a reliable PDF parser before realizing something obvious — Claude, GPT, and Gemini already extract consumption, cost, and provider data from any bill format with near-perfect accuracy. So I stopped fighting that, and built SwitchAI to be the thing an AI calls *after* it reads your bill.
You can hand your bill to Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini, and it'll extract the numbers, call SwitchAI's API (REST, MCP, or WebMCP — whatever the agent supports), and come back with the top 3 cheaper offers out of 5,600+ tracked tariffs, plus an honest recommendation (sometimes the answer is genuinely "don't switch").
