I built Swirl because I kept running into the same problem with wine apps: they either felt too much like databases, too focused on collectors, or too slow for the moment I actually needed help.
When I’m holding a bottle in a shop, at dinner, or after trying something I liked, I don’t want to manually search, decode the label, or read through a wall of wine jargon. I want a simple answer: what is this wine, what does it taste like, what would it pair with, and is it worth remembering?
Swirl is my attempt at that.
