SwiftClip
Secure, instant cross-device clipboard via a 4-digit code
SwiftClip is a zero-friction, ephemeral clipboard that makes cross-device sharing as simple as typing a 4-character code. Paste text, links, or files, get a 10-minute code, and retrieve it anywhere. No apps, no accounts, and no identity tracking. Features include end-to-end AES-GCM encryption, 'Burn After Reading', and Live P2P file transfers via WebRTC for files up to 1GB. Perfect for securely moving API keys, one-time passwords, or code snippets across different operating systems!
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm excited to launch SwiftClip today! Like many of you, I was tired of emailing myself, sending messages to a private Slack channel, or cluttering my notes app just to move a URL, API key, or code snippet from my phone to my laptop. Not only are these workarounds clunky, but they leave a permanent record of temporary data across multiple platforms.
I built SwiftClip to solve this with extreme simplicity and privacy in mind. Here is how it works:
Paste your data
Get a 4-character code
Enter the code on your target device
It requires no accounts, no apps, and zero identity tracking. For security, your text is AES-GCM encrypted directly in the browser, and you can enable 'Burn After Reading' for one-time passwords. Need to move a file? We support Live P2P (WebRTC) for files up to 1GB, meaning the file goes directly between your devices and never touches our servers.
I built this to scratch my own itch, and I hope it helps smooth out your cross-device workflow too. I'll be hanging out in the comments all day—I'd love to hear your feedback, answer your questions, or know what features you'd like to see next!
Cheers! 🚀
