swe-mux: coding agents on desktop+mobile

Run your coding agents on your desktop and your phone

Run Claude Code, Codex, opencode and pi side by side in real terminals on your own machine. Every session shows a live status, so you know which agent is working, done, or waiting on you. The same live sessions open on your phone over your own Tailscale network: terminal, git diffs, dev-server previews and push notifications. Sessions survive app restarts and updates. Open source (Apache-2.0), no account, no relay, no telemetry.

Hey Product Hunt, I'm the maker. I run several coding agents at once, usually Claude Code and Codex across a few projects. Running them was never the hard part. Knowing which one was stuck waiting on me was, and so was not being able to answer it unless I was at my desk. So I built swe-mux. It runs the agent CLIs you already use, in real terminals on your own machine, and adds: - a live status on every session: working, done, or needs you - tabs and panes for agents, files, notes and dev-server previews - the same live sessions on your phone over your own Tailscale: real terminal, git diffs, previews, and a push notification when an agent needs a decision - sessions that survive the app restarting or updating I use it for basically everything now. Doing dev from my phone went from painful to easy. No account, no server of mine in the middle, and your agents talk to their providers directly on your own subscriptions. Windows has a desktop app; macOS and Linux run it in the browser. Try the demo in your browser, nothing to install: https://swemux.dev/demo/ Install: uv tool install swe-mux Very few people besides me have installed it yet, so I'd especially like to hear where the install or the first hour goes wrong.
