A Laravel-inspired web framework for Rust
Suprnova is a full-stack Rust web framework that brings Laravel's developer experience to Tokio. Eloquent-style ORM, type-checked routing, auth, queues, scheduling, mail, WebSockets, and Inertia frontends with TypeScript types generated from your Rust structs. What you get out of the box:
Routes use a routes! macro with named routes, groups, route-model binding, and resource routing, all type-checked. The ORM supports 11 relation types, eager loading, soft deletes, scopes, observers, factories, and pagination. Auth ships with sessions, named guards, TOTP two-factor, email verification, password resets, policies, and gates.
For async work, there are memory, Redis, and database-backed queues with batches, chains, retries, and durable #[workflow] steps that survive restarts. Realtime support includes typed WebSocket handlers, public/private/presence channels, SSE, and Web Push.
The framework handles mail (SMTP, SES, Mailgun, Postmark, SendGrid, Resend), caching (Redis with tags and locks), file storage (S3 or local with a trait-based driver system), vector search (Qdrant, Pinecone, MariaDB), payments (Stripe and Paddle), feature flags, scheduling, observability, and idempotency.
Frontend integration that actually works:
Suprnova includes an Inertia bridge that generates TypeScript types directly from your Rust structs via suprnova generate-types. Change a field in Rust and your Svelte/React/Vue frontend won't compile until it catches up. No more prop drift. Supports Svelte 5, React 19, and Vue 3.5.
Two starter kits get you moving fast. Nebula (Svelte 5) ships with registration, login, email verification, password reset, and profile management wired up. Pulsar (Vue 3.5) adds a marketing site, dashboard, Markdown docs pipeline, blog with RSS, member profiles, taxonomy, and role-based access.
