Sudoku Fun4Kids makes Sudoku accessible to young children with simple 4×4 and 6×6 boards, three play modes using emojis, numbers or letters, large touch-friendly controls, and hints when needed. It works fully offline and contains no ads, no tracking, no data collection, no in-app purchases, and no account requirement. Available on Android, iPhone/iPad and Windows, it is also marked “Teacher Approved” on Google Play.
I built Sudoku Fun4Kids because traditional Sudoku is often too complex and too number-focused for young children. My goal was to keep the logic of Sudoku while making the first steps much more approachable.
The app started with emoji-based 4×4 and 6×6 puzzles and has since grown to include number and letter modes as well. I also spent a lot of time simplifying the interface, enlarging touch targets, and reducing anything that could distract younger players.
Privacy was equally important to me, so the app has no ads, tracking, in-app purchases, or account requirements and works completely offline.
I’d be very interested in feedback, especially from parents, teachers, and anyone working with younger children.
