I’m an indie developer, and lately life has been running a very successful beta test of new ways to annoy me. Therapy was expensive, hosting was cheap, so I built sucks.world—a place to yell into the void and pin the void on a map.
The first 54 rants were mine. Then I came back every day to post more, like the unpaid mayor of a ghost town. Almost nobody visited, which meant I had achieved the impossible: a social network with no social part.
It’s anonymous, requires no account, and has no follower counts. The world is already on fire; nobody needs a popularity contest near the emergency exit.
