Succession

Real-time CEO, CFO, Board changes tracked from SEC filings

500+ executive changes get buried in SEC filings every week. New CEOs, CFO departures, board shakeups. Most never make the news. Succession catches them all in a real-time feed with filters by role, sector, and company size, plus comp data pulled from proxy filings. This week: Lucid's incoming CEO disclosed at ~$14M total comp. Caterpillar and FedEx both swapped CFOs. One company fired their CEO, CFO, and COO in the same filing.

The thing that surprised me most building this was the sheer volume. 500+ leadership changes a week. CEOs, CFOs, board members, all cycling through. 2025 set the all-time record for CEO departures and 2026 isn't slowing down. The comp disclosures are interesting too. Every time a new exec gets appointed, their full package shows up in the filing. Salary, bonus targets, equity grants, severance terms. You start to see what companies actually pay for leadership across sectors and company sizes. Free tier shows today's changes. Would love to hear what's missing.

Who hunted Succession?

Succession was hunted by Brian. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
