Hey PH 👋 I'm Akbar, a solo developer, and SubTrack is my first paid product. I built it because I kept forgetting what I was subscribed to. Every few months I'd notice a charge for something I hadn't used in ages — an old free trial that turned into a yearly plan, a streaming service I thought I'd cancelled, things like that. I looked at a bunch of subscription trackers, but most wanted me to connect my bank account, create an account, or sync everything to the cloud. For something that's basically a list of subscriptions and renewal dates, that felt like more than I needed. So I built SubTrack. It's a simple Chrome extension that sits in your toolbar. You add your subscriptions manually, it keeps track of upcoming renewals, and reminds you before you're charged. A few things it does: * Everything stays local in your browser * No account required * No cloud sync * No bank linking * Renewal reminders through Chrome notifications * Monthly spending overview right from the toolbar * Multi-currency support The only time it ever connects to a server is if you decide to activate Premium, so it can verify your license. The free version supports up to 5 subscriptions. Premium is a one-time purchase of $6.99 (ironically, not a subscription) and unlocks unlimited subscriptions, export/import, and spending analytics. I'd love to hear: * What's the most random subscription you've discovered you were still paying for? * Is there anything you'd want from a tool like this that's currently missing? Thanks for taking a look 🙏

Who hunted SubTrack?

SubTrack was hunted by Syed Muhammad Akbar. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
