Hey everyone 👋 I'm a developer, and every time I tried to learn things like rate limiting, caching, or load balancing, it was the same loop: read an article, stare at a diagram, and still not really get how it behaves in practice. So I built Subroute: a playground where you change the inputs and watch what actually happens. See which cache eviction policy keeps the best hit rate, why one load balancing algorithm overloads a server, and another doesn't, how garbage collection reclaims memory, what consistent hashing does when you add or remove a node. Right now it covers 9 topics and around 60 concepts: rate limiting, caching, load balancing, garbage collection, memory allocation, consistent hashing, page replacement, and circuit breakers. Free, no signup. I'd genuinely love feedback, especially on which concept I should build out next. Thanks for taking a look 🙏

Who hunted Subroute?

Subroute was hunted by Yathiskumar. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
