StudySprout

Turn scattered PDFs into a mapped, collaborative study system

Turn scattered PDFs into a mapped, collaborative study system. Upload a PDF and it's auto-split into topic-scoped files. It maps concepts across files and auto-detects prerequisites — what to read first. Generate flashcards (Q&A, cloze, MCQ) with real spaced repetition. One search bar finds anything across every file. Study and edit together live, with real conflict-free collaboration. Built solo, end to end. Free to try!

Hey everyone 👋 Maker here. I built StudySprout because I kept doing the same thing every semester: download a bunch of PDFs, tell myself I'd organize them later, and never did. Off-the-shelf note apps are good at storage and bad at retrieval. Anki's good at flashcards but bad at organizing source material. StudySprout tries to close that gap — PDF splitting, concept mapping, prerequisite detection, flashcards with spaced repetition, and one search bar across all of it. The part I'm proudest of is real-time collaboration — multiple people can study or edit the same file together live, with proper conflict handling underneath (not just "looks collaborative," but actually safe when two people hit the same action at once). Would love to hear what you think — bugs, confusing UX, missing features, all fair game. I'll be here all day responding.
