Around mid 2024, I was looking for a gamified fitness tracker app to replace the boring app I was using at the time. I was couldn't find anything, so I decided to make one myself.
Initially, I was planning on learning how to code and do everything myself, but I quickly realised that would take far too long. So one thing led to another, and I decided to hire freelancers while closely guiding the development process to where we are today. I have made many mistakes, but loving the process kept me motivated every step of the way.
Our goal is to streamline fitness tracking with useful features that no other app has considered, while refining common features that every fitness tracking app needs. We have plans to deepen the gamified aspect with more fun features, whilst (is whilst still used?) improving our practical tools.
On the surface, we want people to see a fun, cool fitness app, but once they dive deeper, they will realise we're also more advanced in the gym tracking aspect than other competitors.
