I built StoryKind because my kid loved AI bedtime stories—but I kept wondering: is this actually helping them read, or just keeping them entertained?
Most tools in this space do one thing well: put your child's name in a cute adventure. That's fun. But as a parent, I wanted something that also met them at their real reading level, checked whether they understood what they read, and gave me signal when they were improving (or stuck).
