Does it work with Movie Magic? Yes. Import a Movie Magic Budgeting (.mmbx) or Scheduling (.mmsx) file, work on it in Storiara, and export it back. Budgets keep their accounts, fringes, globals and groups. Scripts go in and out as Final Draft files with their tags.
How are the budget numbers calculated? AI only counts things like shoot days, extras and vehicles. Every amount comes from rate tables and union and guild rates (SAG-AFTRA, DGA, WGA, IATSE and Teamsters), with fringes. You can edit any line.
How much prep time does it save? Storiara has broken down over 18,000 scenes so far. By our estimate that is more than 13,000 hours of hand tagging (one hour per script page). For a 110-page feature we estimate about 200 hours of prep back to the 1st AD and UPM.
Are our scripts used to train AI? No. On Studio, your scripts are never used to train AI. You keep ownership of what you upload.
