While developing STEP File Viewer, I realized how incredibly hard it is to find fun, engaging STEP models—almost everything out there is strict industrial or mechanical CAD drawings. On the other hand, vibrant STL and GLB models are everywhere. Although online converters exist, they all require uploading files to a website, which raises privacy concerns. I wanted a native, standalone desktop App—so I decided to build one myself! No internet required, no data risks, just seamless offline conversion right on your machine - mac, iPad, even iPhone.
