Explore Earth with 3 Suns and Face the 3 Body Problem
Stillsky is an atmospheric exploration game set on Earth under three chaotic suns. As real-time orbits shift overhead, endure heat surges, deep freezing nights and tidal gravity storms where massive structures and debris fall upward into the sky. Tether down against the sky's pull, dodge lethal falling wreckage across a ruined world, and uncover lost archives to understand how Earth reached this catastrophic tipping point. Will you survive long enough to uncover what went wrong?
This is another attempt to gamify the three-body problem, where three suns create havoc as they orbit around our planet. I tried to create a cinematic and atmospheric feeling: a sense of calm, while still conveying that the environment is hostile and conditions can change at any moment.
A background story can be uncovered to understand how Earth reached this dramatic point and why it looks the way it does now. I plan to expand the world with additional environments, and maybe new physics logic revolving around gravity.
