I’m excited to share Stellar Radio with you today.
I built it as a solo developer because I wanted radio discovery to go beyond scrolling through a list. That led me to explore whether radio could be experienced visually, almost like a short film you can move through.
The 3D galaxies, flowing particles, and transitions are not simply decoration around a conventional radio player. They are part of the experience itself. You move through space, approach stations as signals, and travel between different galaxies through cinematic hyperspace jumps.
What interested me most was creating a sense of flow: simple movement, a world that responds as you explore, and the chance to arrive at a station you might never have searched for. Stellar Radio still works as an everyday radio player, but I wanted discovering a station to feel calm, cinematic, and a little surprising.
I spent a lot of time refining the visual details, movement, transitions, and performance to make the experience feel immersive without getting in the way of listening.
