StayTrue

Know what your stay is truly like, avoid check-in surprises

Paste an Airbnb or Booking.com link and get a report on what will meet your expectations, what won't, and what to ask the host. Every claim quotes a review, the listing, or a checkable fact; anything unproven becomes a question, never a scare. Scored for your exact party, from toddlers to friends groups. Free for travellers, no verdicts, no rankings. Property managers get the same engine as an audit: every gap becomes a fix, for fewer cancellations and better review scores.

Top comment

Hi everyone, I built StayTrue after one too many holidays where the surprise wasn't the place, it was the gap between the listing and reality. "Walkable dinners" that need a car. An 11-minute beach walk that's a goat path with a buggy. The reviews knew. Nobody reads 154 reviews. So the rule I built the whole thing on: no claim without evidence. Every finding quotes the review, the listing, or a checkable fact, and anything unproven turns into a question for the host instead of a warning. It will never tell you to book or not book. That's your call; its job is to make sure you decide with open eyes. It's free: paste an Airbnb or Booking.com link, tell it who's travelling, and you get your report in a couple of minutes. It's early, and it will sometimes miss or overweight things, which is exactly why every finding has reaction buttons. Telling it "already knew" or "not relevant" is how it gets sharper. I'd genuinely love it if you threw your next booking at it and told me what it got wrong. Which listing surprised you IRL, and would this have caught it?

Who hunted StayTrue?

StayTrue was hunted by Mihai Neagoe. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
