I spent years working in hotel distribution, and the open secret of the industry is that the same room sells at different prices through different channels. The price on Booking.com is rarely the lowest one that exists. Nobody checks because checking is tedious.
StayAgent is the check. Paste a Booking.com link and about 40 seconds later you see Booking's all-in price next to the direct rate for the same stay, taxes included. If you book, the voucher is in your inbox in five minutes. No account, no signup.
Before launching I ran it on 107 real Booking.com hotels. We were cheaper 87% of the time, around $57 a night less on average. The other 13 times Booking won, and the product says so on screen and gets out of your way. That's the rule it's built on: if we can't beat your price, we tell you.
It's early, so please try to break it. Weird Booking URLs, obscure hotels, same day stays. Tell me where it fails and I'll fix it in this thread.
Also it's running on a cheap EC2 box for now, ping me if you see any major errors.
