StarTrace

Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm an independent iOS developer and the maker of StarTrace. The idea came from a simple frustration: every time I traveled somewhere interesting, I ended up with screenshots, photos, saved locations, and random notes scattered across different apps. I wanted a way to create my own map of the world. Not just save a point, but mark an entire area, record a route, attach photos and notes, and come back years later to see where I've been and what I've explored. So I built StarTrace. With StarTrace, you can create markers, areas, and routes anywhere on Earth, measure distance and area, view country borders, explore public hunting zones, and track your exploration history over time. One of my favorite parts is the statistics view. Seeing all the places, regions, and routes I've collected over the years makes the world feel a little more personal. I'd love to hear your feedback, feature ideas, or use cases I haven't thought about. Thanks for checking it out ❤️
