Render live ER diagrams just by typing SQL code
You write standard MySQL or PostgreSQL code on one side, and a live entity-relationship diagram renders it on the other—kept in sync as you type. No proprietary syntax, no manual drawing. The diagram is just another view of your code. Oftentimes, diagrams become bloated and it's difficult to use the visual. A different approach was implemented this time: a user enters the Brainstorm mode and is isolated from all tables except for the target table and all relational tables connected to it.
The SQLestev is built around the idea that a programmer if needs—needs only one table to analyze at a time, when working with SQL. Therefore, only the table where the IDLE cursor seats is rendered, along with the tables directly related to it via FKs.
If Brainstorm is toggled on in the settings, you can see exactly the working experience this gives. To add, there was no online tool that would offer IDLE + ER diagram rendering without the proprietary syntax. In contrast, SQLestev renders valid, real-world SQL syntaxes in milliseconds.
