Honestly, this started from a slightly embarrassing place. I'm not a LeetCode grinder. I've properly sat down with it maybe two or three times in my life 😅 But whatever I did solve, I'd try to write up the solution and post it — partly to remember it, partly because some part of me thought a good write-up might get some traction and make me a little bit known on LeetCode. Classic beginner dream. It never happened. Not because the write-ups were bad, but because I stopped doing them. You finish a problem after 40 minutes, and then there's a blank template asking for Intuition, Approach and Complexity. Every time I looked at that, I closed the tab. The second thing I noticed was worse. I'd peek at the Solutions tab about 90 seconds in, tell myself I was "just checking the approach", and then move on feeling productive having learned nothing. Three weeks later the same problem was brand new to me again. So SQLens is really two fixes for my own bad habits. It writes the first draft of the write-up from the code I actually wrote, so the 15-minute chore becomes a 2-minute one. And it makes me set a timer before it'll show me anything — a timer I can't cancel, because I know exactly what I'd do with a cancel button. Genuinely curious what people think of that last part. Is a lock you can't undo helpful, or just annoying? I keep going back and forth on it.
