Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I built Spytrap after one too many "I just talked about this and now I'm seeing the ad" moments. Usually that's just tracking data but I realized I had no way to know if an app had actually used my microphone. Android shows a tiny green dot, but it's easy to miss and there's no history: if an app grabbed your mic while your screen was off, you'd simply never know. So I built the tool I wanted: 🔔 Real-time alerts the instant any app accesses your camera or mic even in the background, even on the lock screen 📋 Full timestamped history of every access, plus a weekly rundown ranked by how suspicious each app looks ✂️ Trust score per app — revoke permissions or uninstall the creepy ones in one tap The design decision I'm most proud of: everything runs 100% on-device. No account, no ads, no analytics, no server. A privacy app that phones home felt absurd, so there's simply nothing to hack and nothing to leak. It's on the Play Store.
