SpotiPair

Turns nearby Macs into one synchronized speaker

SpotiPair is a free macOS app that lets one Mac share Spotify playback with nearby Macs over the same Wi-Fi. A host can arrange each Mac in Soundstage, choose stereo placement, and control individual or room volume. Spotify is needed only on the host. SpotiPair supports Intel and Apple silicon Macs running macOS 14.2 or newer.

Hi Product Hunt, I’m Tejas, and I built SpotiPair because I wanted the Macs

already sitting around a room to play together instead of acting like separate

speakers.

Start a room on the Mac running Spotify, join from nearby Macs, and SpotiPair

keeps them on the same playback timeline. The host can place each Mac in

Soundstage, choose its stereo position, and control its volume. I also added DJ

Paws because a tiny cat on the desktop makes the whole thing more fun.

This first release is for macOS 14.2 or newer. Audio stays on the local Wi-Fi

network, and guests do not need Spotify accounts.

I would especially love feedback on setup, sync quality across different Macs,

and Soundstage. Thanks for trying it.

SpotiPair is independent software and is not affiliated with or endorsed by

Spotify AB.
