Split-Money
Split expenses with friends 100% free, no paywalls, no ads
Split-Money is the modern expense splitter we as two college students built after Splitwise paywalled core features. Every feature is unlocked forever, including multi-currency, tip/tax calc, unequal splits, groups, and real-time balances. No ads, no IAPs, and no Pro tier. Just free.
I'm TJ, a co-creator of Split-Money. @sahit_mamidipaka and I built this after Splitwise capped their free users at 3 expenses per day and started paywalling stuff like currency conversion and search. I've used Splitwise for years while in college, travelling, etc., and that change really broke it for me, so I built the alternative I actually wanted to use.
Split-Money is: • 100% free forever (no ads, no IAPs, no Pro tier) • Modern UI built for actual phone usage • Every feature unlocked from day 1 (multi-currency, unequal splits, tip & tax, groups, real-time balances)
Currently iOS only. Android in closed testing if you're on Android and want in, comment your Gmail.
Roadmap: receipt scanning (photograph a receipt, app does the math), voice dictation for hands-free entry, AI expense suggestions.
Would love your feedback what would make you switch from your current splitter? What feature should I build next?
