How we came up with Spiritory 💧🟡
All began seven years ago, when my best friend Ferdinand told me what Whisky makes a good investment. Even though he remembered this fact, he couldn't tell me how it works. In 2019 I was traveling Japan and I remembered his words. My bet, finding a unique bottle in Japan and bring it to Europe to sell for a premium at some point. Almost two years later I got the chance to buy another special bottle and tried to sell my japanese Whisky. After three weeks of endless arguments with curators, buying my own bottle in an auction and getting lost in creating an offer, I thought this must be easier. This is how Spiritory is born. Trading whisky shall be as easy as buying something from Amazon, while at the same time we thought that users want to have a precise overview over their collections.
