Spinifex
Local AWS: Same workloads, running wherever you want them
Spinifex runs AWS services on your infrastructure, with the same APIs. Move workloads off hyperscalers, run AI cheaper, take the cloud to the edge - without rewriting your software. Core services (EC2, S3, EBS etc.) that your workload was built upon, can now be "dragged and dropped" to wherever you need them!
We made Spinifex because we believe you should have full control over where your workloads run, without compromising on the tools AWS provides to make life easy. So we re-engineered the core services (EC2, S3, EBS, just to name a few), kept the API surface the exact same, and made it open source. Now, you can point your workloads wherever you want them: At the edge, a Neocloud, or on-prem, with zero re-write. Just a config change!
If you're curious, we have a hosted sandbox you can sign up for to see what you can do with Spinifex.
We're an early stage startup and we release updates weekly, so we're open to feedback/critiques.
