Live interview & meeting copilot for Mac, from your resume
SpeechShield listens to Zoom, Meet or Teams on your Mac and transcribes each question as it's asked. When the speaker pauses, it shows talking points built only from your resume and the job posting, or from the proposals and price lists you added for a client meeting, with the source. Also: live translated captions in 13 languages, a phone viewer you pair by QR, and an overlay that stays out of screen shares. Free with your own Claude Code, Codex or OpenAI key.
Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm the maker of SpeechShield.
I wanted an interview copilot that runs natively on the Mac, hears the call without a bot joining it, and only says things I can actually back up. That's SpeechShield.
How it works
1. Make a profile per company with your resume and the job posting.
2. Start a session. SpeechShield transcribes the interviewer's question as it's asked, from Zoom, Meet, Teams or anything else your Mac plays.
3. When they pause, talking points appear in a small overlay. They come only from your resume; if something isn't there, it says so instead of making it up. Press ⌘↩ if you don't want to wait.
4. Read it in the overlay, or on your phone (scan a QR code, no app).
The same engine works in client meetings (answers from the proposals and price sheets you added, with the source shown) and as live translated captions in 13 languages.
Pricing
• Free: unlimited with your own Claude Code, Codex, OpenAI key or a local model like Ollama, plus a one-time trial of our hosted AI (60 minutes, 50 answers). No card.
• Pro $19/mo and Max $49/mo if you'd rather not bring your own AI.
Please use it where AI help is allowed: mock interviews, practice, work meetings, lectures.
It needs an Apple silicon Mac on macOS 26 or later. I'd love to hear what breaks, what's missing, and which setups you want next.
