Hey 👋 What inspired this: I'm an engineer, and I read constantly but I almost never posted what I learned. The gap between "this article changed how I think" and actually writing a LinkedIn post about it was just big enough that I'd close the tab and move on. Every week I'd lose a dozen ideas that way. Spark started as a selfish fix: I wanted to turn the thing I just read into a post before I lost the thought. The problem I was solving: Not "I can't write" it's the friction and the blank page. The article is the raw material; you've already done the reading and the thinking. Spark lives in your browser, so it's one click from the thing you're reading to a draft you can edit and post. No copy-pasting into a separate app, no starting from nothing. How my approach evolved: Honestly, more than the product did. I shipped v1 as a general "turn articles into LinkedIn posts, tweets, and infographics" tool. Then I watched what actually happened installs but low activation and got one piece of feedback that reframed everything: the bottleneck isn't generating content, it's that AI posts have a fingerprint. People spot the "I realized X, here are 3 lessons" template in two seconds and scroll. So I narrowed the whole thing down to one job turn what you read into a LinkedIn post and started moving toward learning your actual voice instead of manufacturing one. The biggest shift was going from "more features" to "one workflow, done well." Still early and still iterating in public. Would genuinely love to hear: what gets in your way between reading something good and posting about it? 🙏

Spark was hunted by chandan jha. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
