Hi everyone, I'm Rupert, a designer from Berlin.
I built SourTime because a few of my loaves didn't turn out, and I wanted the simplest, most foolproof guide I could have, with reminders at the right moment.
What it does:
- You set how heavy the finished loaf should be. SourTime works out flour, water, starter and salt from your hydration and flour mix.
- A timer walks you through autolyse, bulk, shaping, proof and bake. Set quiet hours and it won't wake you at 3 a.m.: the plan shifts, or switches to an overnight fridge proof.
- No starter yet? A guided seven-day setup, then feeding reminders.
- The Home Screen widget shows whatever is due: the running timer, otherwise your starter's next feeding, otherwise the next step of a plan.
