I'm the solo maker behind SourdoughCalc. I started baking sourdough at home during a long stretch of working remotely and got tired of doing the hydration math on a napkin every single bake. So I built a calculator — then I built 34 articles to go with it, because every baker eventually asks the same questions: "what's 75% hydration?" "how do I shape this?" "why is it gummy?"
