Not too long ago, I was the independent artist moving back and forth from my microphone to keyboard between takes. I remember thinking, "Why hasn't anybody built something to make this process easier?" That thought eventually became SoundGuy. I didn't have a huge roadmap, I just wanted to solve a real problem I was experiencing while recording alone. The goal was simple: remove friction from the recording process so artists can stay focused on creating instead of constantly walking back to their keyboard.
