I built Solonote because I kept having the same frustrating experience with note-taking apps: I’d have a thought, open the app, wait for it to load, navigate through the interface… and sometimes the thought was already gone.
So I wanted to build the opposite — a notes app with almost zero friction.
Solonote opens straight into writing in under a second. No dashboards, no complicated organization systems, no unnecessary features between you and your thought. Just open it and type.
I’m building Solonote solo, and this is still the beginning. My goal is to keep it fast, focused, and genuinely useful without turning it into another bloated productivity app.
