SoloCare
Gentle check-ins for people living alone
SoloCare is a gentle daily check-in app for people living alone. Check in once a day, optionally record your mood, and choose someone you trust as a care contact. If you miss check-ins for a set period, SoloCare can send them an email. Together Mode lets you pause check-ins when you’re staying with family or friends. No location tracking. Not an emergency service.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’m the solo maker behind SoloCare. I built it around a small but real worry: when someone lives alone, if something happens, would anyone notice soon enough? SoloCare is designed to be a gentle daily check-in habit, not a tracking or monitoring tool. You can check in once a day, optionally record your mood, and choose someone you trust as a care contact. If you miss check-ins for a set period, SoloCare can send them an email so they know to check on you. I also added Together Mode, so you can pause check-ins when you’re staying with family, friends, or someone you trust. This helps avoid false alarms and makes the app feel less intrusive. SoloCare does not track your location. It is not an emergency service. The goal is peace of mind without feeling monitored. I’d love feedback from people who live alone, have family check-in routines, or think a lot about privacy and personal safety.
