So Very Bright
Upload a logo, choose what glows, download an HDR JPEG. Free
Upload a logo, choose which colors should glow, download an HDR JPEG. On HDR screens (such as MacBook Pros and iPhones), the chosen parts shine up to 7.5× brighter than #FFFFFF — everywhere else it's a perfectly normal JPEG. Free. Nothing is stored. #6 on HackerNews 8/22/26.
Certain logos started standing out to me on LinkedIn as brighter/whiter than everything else around them.
I dug in and found out this is accomplished by adding a gain-map to an existing JPEG, visible only on HDR screens like a newer MacBook Pro. LinkedIn is the only social network I've found that isn't stripping them out, but of course you serve them up on your own site.
I worked with Claude Code to turn it into a little browser-based utility (no registration) and hope you find it useful! Or, get your pitchforks and say this is worse than the HTML blink tag.

Who hunted So Very Bright?
So Very Bright was hunted by Chris Bennett. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
