SnoreScribe
Is your snoring getting better or worse? 100% on-device
SnoreScribe records your snoring overnight and answers the question that actually matters: is it getting better or worse? See your worst nights, spot what sets it off, and play back the real clips. Built with one hard rule: your audio never leaves your phone. No account, no cloud, no third-party SDKs — 100% on-device. Now live on the App Store. One-time purchase.
I'm Chunqing, a solo iOS developer based in Shenzhen. I built SnoreScribe because I snore, my partner doesn't sleep well because of it, and every app I tried wanted an account or quietly sent audio "to the cloud for analysis."
So I built the one I'd actually trust: SnoreScribe records and analyzes your snoring entirely on your phone. No account, no cloud, no third-party SDKs — your audio never leaves your device.
In the morning you get a night report: when you snored, how loud, and short clips so you can hear it for yourself. Over time it shows trends so you can spot patterns (not a medical diagnosis — just your own data, made visible).
It's a solo project and still early — the public beta is live on TestFlight. I'd love feedback on what would make this genuinely useful for your sleep, and happy to answer anything about the on-device approach.

Who hunted SnoreScribe?
SnoreScribe was hunted by Charles Liao. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
