Snapsift

Clean the photos Apple's Duplicates can't find

iPhone's Duplicates album only finds exact copies. Snapsift finds the rest: near-identical burst shots, similar angles, blurry photos, and screenshots. That clutter is what actually eats your storage. It runs fully on-device (no upload, no account), groups everything for review, and lets you cull in one pass. Free for 15 deletes a month, or a one-time lifetime unlock. No forced subscription.

Hi PH 👋 I'm Anhphong, a solo developer in Hanoi. I built Snapsift after getting annoyed at my own camera roll. iOS has had a Duplicates album since iOS 16, but it only finds exact copies. The stuff actually wasting my storage was never exact: ten near-identical tries at the same photo, full bursts, blurry shots, years of screenshots. Apple's album walked right past all of it. So Snapsift looks for what Apple misses. It uses on-device image analysis to group similar-but-not-identical photos, plus blurry shots and screenshots, and shows them grouped so you can keep the best and delete the rest in one pass. Two things I cared about building it: - Fully on-device. Your camera roll is personal. Snapsift never uploads a single photo. No account, no server, nothing leaves your iPhone. - Honest pricing. A lot of cleaners let you scan for free, dangle a "free up 20 GB" number, then demand a subscription before you can delete anything. Snapsift's free plan lets you actually delete 15 photos a month, and there's a one-time lifetime unlock so you never have to subscribe. It's free to try (App Store link above). I'd love to hear what your camera roll looks like and what would make this more useful. I answer every comment and every email myself.
