I built SmartReviewer AI after watching local restaurant and food cart
owners in India struggle with the same problem: customers loved the food
but almost never left a Google review, because typing one out felt like
a chore.
The insight that shaped the product: most review tools are built for the
US/English market and ignore that most Indian customers think in Hindi,
Tamil, Telugu, or their regional language first. So we built AI generation
that writes naturally in 11+ Indian languages, not just translated English.
A few things I'm proud of:
- Keyword seeding so reviews actually help local SEO, not just review count
- A private feedback loop for low ratings — so a bad night doesn't become
a public 1-star review, while staying compliant (the "write a public
review instead" option is always visible)
- Sub-1-second mobile load on the scan page — most customers are scanning
on patchy restaurant wifi
