They move through public space, but their attention belongs to the screen. Our stickers turn this everyday behavior into a public intervention: a simple, provocative reminder to look up. We created Smartphone Zombies stickers because the way we use technology has become a public issue. People walk into traffic, ignore the people beside them, block public spaces and lose hours to endless scrolling. We call them Smartphone Zombies because their bodies are present, but their attention has been taken by a screen. We believe this is not something we should simply accept.
The campaign is part of our ARTivist approach: using art as a tool for action, not decoration. A sticker can become a tiny billboard, a public interruption and a reminder that our attention belongs to us. We made the stickers free because activism should be easy to join. Print them, place them, create your own version and spread the message. One small sticker will not change the world. But thousands of small actions can challenge what we have started to see as normal.
