Hi Product Hunt! 👋 Smart telescopes (Seestar, DWARF, Vespera, Unistellar, Celestron Origin) made deep-sky photography easy, but choosing one is still confusing. Spec sheets list aperture and megapixels, while what really decides your pictures is the field of view, and what your own sky lets you see: roofs and trees, light pollution and latitude. So I built Smart Telescope Atlas: 🌍 Your sky – type your address, we fly you there and show the sky above your own horizon, for tonight or any night, with a cloud forecast. 📱 Horizon scan – on a phone, point the camera along your skyline to record what blocks your view, or hold it up to see the sky in that direction. 🔭 Telescope frames – each object shows which of 12 smart telescopes frames it well, too tight or too small. 🌌 110 Messier guides, 66 head-to-head comparisons and a monthly "night sky" page, in English, Dutch and German. 🔗 Share my sky – one link or image card with what you can capture from your place. It's free, needs no account and never stores your location. Rankings come from the specs and your sky, not from commissions; the few shop links are labelled and explained. I'd love your feedback: which telescope or feature should I add next? And if you own a smart telescope, does the frame match what you actually get?
