Smart Networking

The networking app for fast offline link and contact sharing

Online, sharing a link takes one click. Offline it falls apart. Every link you own in one place—products, projects, contacts—each a QR code with one-tap copy. Installs like a native app on iOS & Android and works offline. No login, open source.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋

I'm Volodymyr—a senior marketing director and author. Not a developer.

Here's the thing about links. Online, sharing takes one click. But the moment we go offline—a conference hallway, a meetup, or a random great conversation—everything breaks. We dig through apps, spell out emails, promise to “send the link later”... and never do.

I built Smart Networking as a personal side project in my free time to fix this for myself first—and decided to share it because I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem.

It does two things.

One: swap contacts in seconds, anywhere. Not everyone is on LinkedIn—so you ask, "Where are you?” and show Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook instead.

Two: It's your offline vault for every link you own—your products, your projects, and your contacts. Someone asks about your work? Don't send it. Show it—they scan it on the spot, or you copy the link into any chat with one tap.
Under the hood: a built-in editor—open my demo, tap "Edit," and make it yours. Everything stays in your browser; your data never leaves your device. No signup, no backend. And my favorite part: it installs like a real app on both iOS and Android — straight from the browser, no App Store needed — with a home screen icon, full-screen mode, and full offline support. Because offline is exactly where you'll use it. Free and open source.

The meta-experiment: I'm a marketer. Claude, the AI, wrote most of the code — I did the product thinking. The whole journey is public in the commit history.

And honestly, no feature promises today. I want real feedback first: use it, break it, tell me what's missing. That will decide what gets built next.

My question to you: what's the link you most often fail to share offline?

Who hunted Smart Networking?

Smart Networking was hunted by Volodymyr Khomichenko. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
