Most hand you a description of it: a markdown table you still rebuild in Excel, an outline you still turn into a deck. Smalt returns the actual artifact. Ask for a DCF and you get a working .xlsx — live formulas that recalculate when you change a driver. Ask for a deck and you get native, editable PowerPoint. Ask for research and every claim traces back to a filing or transcript. It's aimed at finance and analyst work first — where the output has to survive an investment committee — but it's a general AI coworker underneath. I would genuinely value your feedback, especially on where it should go next.
