I built Slovnyx around a simple frustration: watching movies and TV shows in English is a great way to learn, but constantly pausing to translate unfamiliar words ruins the experience.
The idea behind Slovnyx is to move that work before you press play.
Choose a movie or an exact TV episode, and Slovnyx creates a personalized vocabulary list based on your level and the words you already know. You can practice those words with translations, definitions, pronunciation, and quizzes, then watch with fewer interruptions.
Slovnyx also lets you create vocabulary from text, photos, screenshots, and your own topics, so the same system works beyond movies and TV.
It’s available on iOS and Android, and I’d really love feedback from the Product Hunt community — especially on the movie/episode experience and what you’d want me to build next.
