SlopSignal

Spot AI slop in your LinkedIn and X feeds

Slop Signal labels posts in your LinkedIn and X feeds as AI slop, Likely AI, or Looks human. It runs as you scroll, requires no account, and doesn't store the posts it checks. The labels from Slop Signal are not proof that a post was written by AI, it is just a signal to help you decide what deserves your attention.

Top comment

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built Slop Signal because my social feeds started feeling very different. A lot of posts on LinkedIn and X now have the same polished hooks, the same structure, and the same engagement-bait style. I found myself scrolling past more and more posts because I couldn't tell whether they were actually worth reading. So I built a small Chrome extension that gives me a signal while I scroll. It labels posts as: 1. AI slop 2. Likely AI 3. Looks human It works on both LinkedIn and X, doesn't require an account, and doesn't store the posts it checks. One important thing: Slop Signal isn't claiming to prove whether someone used AI. It's just a signal based on how the post reads. I'm launching it because I want to see if this is actually useful to other people too. If you try it, I'd genuinely love to know where it gets things wrong.
