Built SlantReport as a side project because as I think about it, every outlet has some bias, so why not just own it?
It also has an AI headline rewriting that allows you to switch between Populist Left and MAGA on the same story and the framing is completely different. Same facts, totally different lens.
There is a fair point that someone raised that this will reinforce people's "bubbled views" which to some extent is true. However I feel people have nuanced positions on various topics and there is a lot more overlap at times between various political ideologies. This just allows them to peek at what others are consuming within the same interface. Some people may stay in their own lane so to speak but there could be others who might peek into the other lanes :)
Would love your feedback - which sources would you add or swap out? And does the concept resonate or does it feel like it's reinforcing echo chambers? It's a simple concept and I kept it minimal for now.
