I love trying local food when I travel, but I kept running into the same problem: I'd sit down at a place locals clearly loved, open the menu, and have no idea what to order. Tourist guides only ever named the same two or three "famous" dishes, which usually meant the most touristy ones.
So I built the tool I wanted. For each country you get opinionated picks of what locals actually eat and drink: signature dishes, street food, regional specialties and local drinks, with a short note on what each one is and why it's worth trying. Not a generic list, but the stuff that's genuinely good.
It covers 146 countries and thousands of dishes and drinks, is completely free, no signup, and works in 5 languages.
