SketchForge3D
Open-source CAD that runs right in your browser
SketchForge is an open-source CAD tool that runs entirely in your browser. It’s built to sit between beginner 3D tools and heavy desktop CAD. It's easy to start with, but capable enough for real projects. Create with primitives, sketches, extrusion, booleans, fillets, chamfers, STEP import/export and more. No installation, no locked-down format, and no paywall to start designing. Built for makers, students, classrooms and anyone who wants CAD to feel simpler.
I’m the creator of SketchForge.
I started building it because I wanted a CAD tool that was much easier to get into, worked directly in the browser, and was completely open source.
Since then, SketchForge has grown far beyond my expectation, recently passing 1,000 stars on GitHub. The community has helped enormously through feedback, bug reports, contributions, and feature ideas.
There’s still a lot I want to build, and I’d really appreciate your feedback.
