Sketch Tutor
Turn any photo into a step‑by‑step drawing tutorial 🧑🎨
Most drawing apps give you generic subjects to copy, or AI "art generators" that draw for you. SketchTutor does neither — it teaches you to draw, using a photo of your choosing. Upload a photo and our AI transforms it into a clean pencil sketch and automatically breaks it into stages. You follow along with pencil and paper at your own pace. If Duolingo and a drawing tablet had a baby, it would look like this. Upload one photo and see what your hands can actually do.
Hey guys 👋,
If you're like me and always found it cool to learn how to draw you may like this app that I made. It's a simple app that generates a step-by-step portrait sketch tutorial from a given photo. It will generate a tutorial that is easy to follow and at the end you get your own portrait sketch!
So if you ever wanted to draw a sketch of someone now is your time. Get a piece of paper and a pencil, follow the tutorial at your own pace and you'll be there in no time.
What I'd love feedback on:
-Does the staged approach feel intuitive, or do you want more/fewer stages?
-What subjects are you drawing? (I currently optimized it for portraits of people, let me know what you want to draw (portraits, pets, landscapes, objects?), any feedback helps.)
-The ruler + guides UX — overkill or underkill for beginners?
I'm in the comments all day. Be brutal, I can take it. 🎨
