I built Sitecast because creating demos for websites is surprisingly tedious. You have to manually open the site, record your screen, redo takes when something goes wrong, and then edit the footage into something presentable.
I wanted to automate that whole process.
Sitecast takes a website and turns it into a demo video from the command line. The goal is simple: stop manually recording websites every time you want to showcase one.
This is the first version, and I'm launching it to see if this is actually a problem worth solving. I'd love to hear how you currently create website demos and what you'd want Sitecast to do better.
