Hi Product Hunt community
I built Simple Allergy Alert because I needed it myself.
I'm living in SE Asia with severe nut allergies. Eating out here, or anywhere in Asia, means a constant game of guesswork. Google Translate mangles allergen terminology. Pre-printed cards only cover one language. And 'just hope for the best' isn't a strategy when anaphylaxis is on the table.
So I built the thing I wanted to exist: tap your allergens, pick the local language. Save it to your home screen - done. One tap and show it whenever you need to.
The emergency card is what makes this different from every other allergy app. If something goes wrong, it shows the local emergency number for whichever country you're in, in the local language.
I'm a solo indie developer, this is a side project built in spare time. So I'd genuinely love any feedback, brutal or otherwise. What's missing? What's confusing? What would make you actually use this?
